Monday Morning Adult Pottery Class – Spring 4 Week Short Course – The Throwing Room

Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced all welcome and supported. Come along and learn how to work with clay or develop your skills and techniques further. 

These adult term classes at our Doncaster East studio give you an introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel or handbulding over several weeks. During this time, for the wheel throwers, you will learn centering, throwing, trimming, decoration, and glazing in a friendly and supportive environment.
And for handbuilders, you will be introduced to a range of techniques, including pinch pots, coiling, slab building, and using moulds. You will get to choose from our lovely range of studio glazes to finish your pieces.

For those with previous experience, these classes offer guided tuition and studio access to develop your skills and bring your next ceramic project to life, whether that be refining fundamental forms or something more whacky and ambitious.

New Students – please purchase our beginners HALF clay & kit in addition to classes. This can be collected at your first class.
