Suitable for complete beginners, and those with previous experience. Come along and learn how to work with clay or develop your skills and techniques further.
Please select Handbuilding or Wheel throwing.
These adult term classes at our new Montmorency studio give you an introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel or handbulding over several weeks. During this time, for the wheel throwers, you will learn centering, throwing, trimming, decoration, and glazing in a friendly and supportive environment.
And for handbuilders, you will be introduced to a range of techniques, including pinch pots, coiling, slab building, and using moulds. You will get to choose from our lovely range of studio glazes to finish your pieces.
New Students – please purchase our beginners HALF clay & kit in addition to classes. This can be collected at your first class.
